Publisher Description
PD Stepfinder is a simple-to-use augmented reality app that can help people with Parkinson’s break out of their freeze.
Freezing is a common issue in Parkinson’s disease (PD). Visual cues have been proven to help, but they aren’t always the most practical since freezing can happen at any time.
That’s where PD Stepfinder comes in. It’s a simple-to-use augmented reality app that places visual cues on any ground surface, wherever you are, to help get you out of the freeze.
CHOOSE A CUE:
- Different shapes (circles, lines, checkerboards) mean you can pick what works best for you
- Variety of colors to provide best contrast with ground surface
- Auditory option for those who respond best to aural cues
- 1-2-3-step! countdown feature
FOR YOU, BY YOU:
